Student, athlete, entrepreneur — Alpha School · Austin. Level 6 · Men’s artistic. Mini-Max Project · Grades 6–8

I’m 11. I do school, gymnastics, and build things. In sixth grade I start a three-year Mini-Max Project: a media company for people my age who are learning, training, and building something at the same time. I don’t know how to do most of it yet. That’s the fun part.

The two words behind my family’s project

Routine + Mastery

The same loop shows up in school, gymnastics, and building: repeat the work, find the hole, and change the next attempt.

Routine is the boring stuff I repeat until it works. It is also the routine I compete, with judges and a number at the end. The boring one is why the other one works.

Mastery means I don’t get to hide the holes. My school makes me get 90 before I move on. My family is building RoutineMastery for families like mine. It is one of the places where I get to practice turning a real problem into something useful.

Why I’m making SAE

I want to meet the people doing all three.

I want to get to know and celebrate people who are learning, training, and building something at the same time. I want to hear how they do it, share what they learn, and make more room for people—at any age—to try.

I’m 11, so I’m not standing outside this story pretending I have it solved. I’m inside it: learning at a new kind of school, training six days a week, and helping my family build companies. This site is the record of that journey.

What I’m actually doing

Three things at once. Not always gracefully.

01 / Learn it

Find the hole.

School gives me a place to build foundations, ask better questions, and try again.

02 / Train it

Do the reps.

Gymnastics gives me six events, a coach, and a number at the end.

03 / Build it

Make something useful.

SAE is where I meet people doing all three and keep track of what I learn from them.

A lot of work hides behind one number.

The plan (sort of)

Try things. Notice what breaks. Try again.

I’m starting SAE, a media company for people my age who are learning, training, and building something at the same time.

I’m not pretending I know how to do it yet. I’m keeping track of what I try, what I get wrong, and what I learn next.

Where I’m at

No combined score. That would be weird.

School, gymnastics, and building measure different things. These are snapshots of the work, not a leaderboard.
